the true story of one of the holy trinity of comedy (Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin)

Blood work 6/10

The Big Short (2015) 8/10

Clueless (1995) 7/10

Wet Hot American Summer (2001) 4,5/10

Heavy Weights (1995) 6/10

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) 8/10

I finally got to see this one, have been anticipating it for a few months, and have to say that I was completely disappointed with it. I disliked the narrative structure of the movie and found it difficult to focus on any one of the “main” characters, other than last pilot. I also found the story of the boy on the rescue ship to be superfluous.

For such a dramatic moment in history, the movie lacked tension. I found it uninspiring, even a little dull.

30 Minutes or Less (2011) 5/10

Friday (1995) 6/10

Airplane II: The Sequel (1982) 5,5/10

Stranger Things (TV Series, 2016– ) 8,5/10

Stand by Me (1986) 8/10

The Spy Who Went Into the Cold (2013) 6,5/10

Jokes aside. It was an episode from Mayday AirCrashInvestigation.

Dallas Buyers Club (2013) 8/10

Star Wars the Last Jedi

Watched this one today and am still processing it. Some good parts, some story lines that dragged the narrative down. But as the middle part of a trilogy, it was always going to feel a little incomplete.

At least Kylo Ren felt more fleshed out as a villain in this one, and not a child prone to temper tantrums.

Here Comes the Boom (2012) 6,5/10

Sicario (2015) 9/10

I watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal skull last night, it was better from what I remembered, up to the point that we got to the end. The end simply sucks, the rest of the movies is pretty good.

Dunkirk (2017) and (1958).

Bonnie and Clyde (1967) 8/10
