What was the Last Movie you watched?

I would have prefer to go to the cinema to watch another movie, but this was OK.

Transformers: The Last Knight on UHD blu ray. Was quite disappointed with the film but it was nice to see another home release that switches aspect ration based on the action on screen.

Watched Blade Runner 2049 today at an Imax theater.

I was a little nervous about them making a sequel to Blade Runner, it seemed superfluous and with the poor examples we’ve seen on the Alien franchise, it wouldn’t have been a great surprise to see this one fall flat.

But that didn’t happen. This is a really good film. Harrison Ford is in it, but its really Ryan Gosling’s show, with excellent support from the two main women, Sylvia Hoeks and Ana de Armas. Gosling doesn’t seem to have the ability to emote much, but it works in this role.

Well done, and highly recommended. By the way, if you watch it in an Imax theater, I also recommend ear plugs. I had my fingers in my ears through much of the loud stuff. Reminded me of rock concert volume.

I’m going to watch it this evening. Hopefully, I won’t be disappointed. I just rewatched the original movie yesterday to prepare myself for the new movie.

Blade Runner (1982) 8/10

Blade Runner 2049 (2017) 8,5/10

^I see you liked it. Did you have problems with the volume like me? I’ve seen several complaints about it over at the movies forum at Reddit.

Its very shallow to judge someone by their looks.

Hey I saw that guy ont he big screen, he wasn’t very scary :stuck_out_tongue:

They Live (1988): 7.3/10

Rotten Tomatos: Tomatometer 83%, Audience Score 79%

Sound volume was OK (but for example, Interstellar was so loud it almost made my ears bleed). I will definitely buy a blu ray as soon as it’s released - some things are unclear for me and I felt a little bit confused during the last half hour.

The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015) 8/10

True Lies (1994) 6,5/10

Black Books (TV Series 2000–2004) 7,5/10

Cambridge Spies (TV Mini-Series 2003) 7/10

Road to Perdition (2002) 7,5/10

I am extremely embarrassed to admit to watching the Wesley Snipes movie Armed Response. The only good thing about this movie was the end and the fast forward butting on the player.

Giving it a 1/10 rating would be overly generous.

Under the Sun (2015) 8,5/10

Well i tried to watch

not a good sign when you are sleeping after 30 minutes, so cant say anything about the movie :stuck_out_tongue:

The Sting (1973) 8,5/10

I wanted to like Valerian, and gave it my best shot, but I quit about 2/3rds through. I don’t know if it was the constant barrage of CGI effects, the middle school level writing, or the complete lack of acting talent in the two leads that did me in. A combination? Its just astonishing that much money was thrown at this thing and Besson came up with this mess.

The Football Factory (2004) 6/10

Her (2013) 7,5/10
