I decided to take a trip back to 1995 for a triple feature:
True Detective (Season 2, 2015) 8,5/10
Amy (2015) 8,5/10
I saw Death wish, the 2018 version of it, I did not like it that much, my advice would be to watch the 1974 Death Wish movie, its a masterpiece. This one gets a 6 / 10
A Die Hard Weekend
Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard 2 (1990)
Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995)
Live Free or Die Hard (2007)
A Good Day To Die Hard (2013)
Red sparrow, 7/10
A Lethal Weapon Weekend
Lethal Weapon 1 (1987)
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Lethal Weapon 3 (1992)
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998)
I watched Tomb Raider (2018) recently. Not a bad popcorn movie, just don’t expect much depth or realistic action. I was pleasantly surprised to see they didn’t try to make Lara Croft into an invincible force, though of course, she survives situations and injuries that are unbelievable.
- Watching it on a 15.6" screen is not an great experience, it needs a lot of inches.
- You need a a big screen and a good sound system, this way you will forget what you have seen, the story is almost non-existing the characters are not that good,
Overall its a 4/10 mainly for the visual effects.
Wayne’s World (1992) 7,5/10
Wayne’s World (1993) 6,5/10
Lars and the Real Girl (2007) 6,5/10
Jacob’s Ladder (1990) 6/10
Outland (1981) 6.6/10
Yes, I know, I’m very late seeing this one. Not a bad movie, though not my favorite among the Pixar productions. Certainly worth watching.
This one was just a little too over the top in CGI for me. Not terrible, and anything that Spielberg directs is going to be solid, but its one of my least favorite from this director.
it was enjoyable, great work on CGI.6/10
I have to say that the first movie was much better, this one was just OK. 5/10
The last movie I saw was yesterday Antman and the wasp
It was kind of silly, but it was fun for the new villans.
Twin Peaks (2017) 9,5/10
The Death of Yugoslavia (TV Mini-Series, 1995) 9/10
The Tombraider reboot looks stunning in 4K HDR; I’ve watched it several times just to bask in the contrast and colour spectrum, TV heaven…
