What was the last album you listened to?

What an interesting weekend…

This band was ‘the stuff of US bargain bins’ in its day, but reportedly exerted significant influence on the future of rock. While (arguably) not their best, these represent my ‘1st contact’. I still enjoy them to this day…

Budgie - If I Were Brittania I’d Waive The Rules (1976)

Budgie - Impeckable (1978)

Flotsam And Jetsam - Cuatro

A couple of’ short ones’ I never grow tired of…

Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola & John Mclaughin

Passion, Grace and Fire (1983)

Friday Night in San Francisco (1983)

Cradle of filth - Dusk… and her embrace

Be Bop Deluxe - Live in the Air Age (1977)

Fates Warning - Disconnected

DELANEY & BONNIE AND FRIENDS - On Tour (With Eric Clapton)

2018-At The Gates - To Drink From The Night Itself
2018-Ghost - Prequelle
2018-Memoriam - The Silent Vigil

Rainbow - Down to earth

Jimi Hendrix ~ Are You Experienced

Duran Duran - Girls On Film

Weird Al Yankovic - Smells Like Nirvana, Eat It

Speaking of Hendrix, I was recently listening to Coroner’s cover of Purple Haze.

(One of the better versions over the years).

Still Corners - Strange Pleasures
