Ive just tried using anydvd 22.214.171.124, and when I go to burn those files to an image with nero I get 'dvd allocation error', 'do you want to continue anyway'.Will there be problems if I choose yes??
For what I know this error is due to a badly authored dvd. If there are errors in the vob (or ifo) files, probably the movie will be unplayable.
Try to rip it again with dvd decrypter and the plugin
The latest version of fixvts could solve this problem.
which plugin do I need for dvd decrypter? There seems to be a few there
You've also the option to use the anydvd ripper, right click on the fox in the taskbar then select rip dvd-video to hd.
You can find the plugin is in the link I posted
ive downloaded the zip file, do I place it in the Video_TS folder on my hard disk that anydvd ripped , click the fixVTS prog, then drag and drop a VOB to the little grey box that opened up>?
In the page there is also the guide to use the plugin. The wizard need also pgcedit to work on a complete ripping
If you want to use only fixvts, read the steps in the guide
Ive got 1 coaster so i must be doing something wrong. After going through the wizard and everything, I now have the VIDEO_TS folder with another folder in there called PGcEdit backup. what do i burn the video files with, do i delete that backup folder? What next?
Try to rip again the full disc using the wizard. If you follow all steps, you can choose also to delete backups at the end of processing.
