interesting, i’ve got some unbranded 99min cd’s here that are 96m43s33f, 32x rated, 32x smart burn limit

i take it they are ritek, but cd identifier cant do it and liteon download site is down at the moment so i cant get this proggy

i’ve done a great burn on these at 4x that was 99:30, they overburn test right up to 99:59.74, i cant test them farther without doing an actual burn

know how far they can actually go? or if ritek has 99min 40x’ers out the door yet?

Which program did you use? I downloaded SBMC40.zip (designed for LiteOn 40sp writer), but this program works only with my LTR-40125s…

#4

Hmm alot of them say they can be recorded at much higher speeds than they are certified for. have you actually tested any? actually burned them and checked for errors??

#5

Wait for my upcoming review where I’ll go closely into this issue.

Can you help me with my question? (2 posts above this one)

I can’t use the Liteon checker with my new LTR-40125S with firmware ZS0A. All of my medias show as unknown!

#9

Yeah the program is really buggy.

Try with an updated ASPI layer.

For me it works with most of my writers…

#10

How did you select another writer??? There is no selection possibility, it just finds my ltr-40125s…

#11

Hm at my sys it detects several writers(but not all:confused: ) and I could select them from the drop down list.

Guess it’s just to buggy.

And you used the same program as I mention above? Looks like we are talking about 2 different applications… In the program mentioned above there is no possibility to select a writer, there is no list or dropdownbox or what so ever… I can’t believe this can be caused by the ‘buggy’ program…

#13

I’ll post some screenshots later today

#14

I already have the most up to date version of the ASPI, I have 4.7.1… :frowning:
