What reader would be best for reading music protected cd's

I wonder if any one can help me. I read in a earler thread that the Lite-on 48125w could not read the protection on some\all music cd's but it can write them ok! (is this correct) ?
Can anyone tell me what would be a good reader to copy music protected cd.s so I can then read from the reader and write them with the Lite-on sucsesfully. My reader at the moement is a Teac CD-532S (scsi).

Thanks for any help.

I think most plextor drives could read protected audio discs…

There is others as well, but I do not know which…I’ll have to leave this to be answered by others.

Ok OC-Freak thanks for your help.

Can anyone help please. I have to order my writer soon a (LITE-ON) . I will have to change my reader at the same time so I need to know what make/model to get for reading the protected music cd’s . So I don’t have to keep the original’s in the car, they cost to much.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
