What is the limit to how many DVD burners I can have on 1 computer?

I currently have 4 internal SATA DVD burners and 1 External USB.

I would like to add another internal would that be a problem?

Also if I could add another internal how many external USB burners can I add? Is the main limit my power supply?

Will I just know my computer can’t handle more because that burner just won’t power up?

Hi,
I currently have 4 internal SATA DVD burners and 1 External USB.

I would like to add another internal would that be a problem?
If you have enough drive bays and connections to controller and PSU available, there shouldn’t be a problem, normally.

Also if I could add another internal how many external USB burners can I add? Is the main limit my power supply?
Since USB DVD writers have their own PSU, the internal PSU does not matter.

Will I just know my computer can’t handle more because that burner just won’t power up?
This can have several reasons:

[ul]
[li]not enough power from the PSU
[/li][li]Bios bugs or controller issues
[/li][li]bad drive
[/li][li]bad cables
[/li][/ul]I am sure, I forgot something
