What is the different between UltraISO and MagicISO?

They both seems to orinnated from China and have a very very similar interface.

I am wondering if they are the same under different name or what.

And which one is better?? ( I gave up on WinISO long time ago when i discover UltaISO … )

I’m not sure but maybe they’re from the same source. FlashGet / ReGet is another (also chinese) example. I don’t know if it has to do with theft or if it’s marketing though…

WinISO and UltraISO both do exactly the same stuff but I think UltraISO is more useful for some reason

My vote goes to UltraISO. It looks more original to me and simply because I myself use it.

Contrary opinions, I like MagicISO. It’s more stability.

Some difference:

  1. UltraISO supports 27 CD image formats
  2. UltraISO can convert any format to iso, nrg, bin/cue and ccd/img/sub
  3. UltraISO can optimize CD image by coding same files once - usful for making All-in-one multiboot OS CDs
  4. UltraISO supports long filenames up to 221 chars

and more…

MagicISO detects cd image formats automatically.
MagicISO can search files and directories in CD/DVD image files.
MagicISO can correct volume serial number.so that user keep the original CD
MagicISO burn CD without NERO.
MagicISO also supports long filenames up to 221 chars.
MagicISO also optimize CD image by coding same files once .
MagicISO also convert any format to iso BIN/CUE

“MagicISO also convert any format to iso BIN/CUE”, now that is a simple thing to do.

“UltraISO can convert any format to iso, nrg, bin/cue and ccd/img/sub”, now that is total ROT!!.

There is no way that an .iso can be converted into ccd/img/sub.
Any software that claims that capability is preaching to a bunch of idiots.
