What happen to the $15 Verbatim DVD+R 100pk?

I’ve been living under a rock lately, and now need new media.

I used to get Verbatim +R 100 ct at Office Max for $15.00. It was on sale for about $25.00 and I had a $10 off $20 printable coupon. Some time has past. Normally electronics gets cheaper. The blue-ray came out.
I can’t find verbatim (DVD+R single layer 100pk) at this price anymore. Why?

If there is something just as good at the same price I would like to know.

(I hope this is the right section for this question. I tried to look for a Bargain discussion section, but couldn’t find one. :slight_smile:

Your question doesn’t make any sense. Verbatim media still goes on sale periodically, and sometimes, although less often now, OfficeMax will issue coupons. The two things don’t have anything to do with each other though, so your expectations of what happened in the past have no basis in current reality. There is no why. Things just change. Nothing lasts forever. Get used to it.

Does someone know of a store or online where the price is cheap regarding good quality 100pk DVD+R’s

Depends on what you mean by “cheap”. If you mean around $15, then no.

Newegg has the 100pk of Verbatim +R for $27.99 with free shipping.

TYs are generally around $35 for a 100pk.

I have not seen any Office Max coupons since March. I think they are a victim of the recession.

Same here i use to buy OM coupons all the time to use to get Verb dvds but now no more coupons. I think its do to the screwed up economy
