Hi all,
what firmware is best to used on NEC3500, which has the most updated media-information. A lot of my medias are written at 2* eveb though the are labeled 4* or even 8*
How about the NEC 2.18 (218btrpc1) which is listed on http://www.micheldeboer.nl/firmware/index.html?

Just a little looking around in the 2.18 thread would get you that info. Look here the 3rd or 4th post down and it lists the strategies in the 2.18 firmwares and compares them to the other recent firmwares.

How can it not be clear? In the 4th post down the bold strategies are the newest and that was just posted. It clearly shows exactly what you asked for,the most updated media information.
I didn’t post the links to any "threads’, just a thread that had exactly what you wanted to know.
