What does "Feature code=ff00h,ff01h,ff10h" mean?

HI~~
I cannot find any information on the latest MMC document on “Feature code=ff00h,ff01h,ff10h”,but many driver is used.Have something to do with DVD-R DL?

I’ve never seen these feature codes before. I don’t think they are used for DVD-R DL. I don’t remember the exact values, but they surely didn’t start with ff.

On what drives exactly did you see them? Could this have to do with Lightscribe? I haven’t seen a documentation for LS yet.

Sorry, it is “feature code=ff00h,ff10,ff11h”. It is used on PLEXTOR driver. Do not know whether returning it will have influence?

Just to be sure that we’re talking about the same stuff.
With feature code you mean feature codes returned by the MMC GetConfiguration command (0x46)?
-R DL sequential is handled by feature 0x002f, layer jump is handled by 0x0033

If you only discovered these values on Plextor drives, maybe it’s something that is limited to Plextor drives. Gigarec, Varirec and all this stuff.
