I want to backup a zip file that is close to 900 mb. I normally just use cd's but of course they only hold 700 mb. How can I do this? I use nero for burning.
The obvious course is to burn to a dvd. If you don't have a dvd burner, get a cheap 1 or 2 gb flash drive and put it on that.
So I make a data DVD? Does that make the file accesable just like it was burned onto a CD?
Yes, a zipped file will look the same and be accessed in the same manner whether it is on a cd or dvd.
There ARE "overburnable" CD-R's available, but they are not readable reliably and not all drives can overburn to them.
a Recordable DVD is your best bet.
Thank you very much!
