Belatedly, I just discoverd today, three months after the fact that M$ dropped support for “Internet TV” in MSE and today I went to show someone “something neat” that was no longer there…

Because one of M$'s recent updated deleted that part of the code.

The fact that I almost never used it (well to my recollection I used it exactly ONCE to watch an episode of “Blue Bloods” on CBS last march)
suggests I won’t actually miss it, but still why remove it?

There was content there, mostly it was good for the last five episodes of most CBS prime time shows… but purposely pushing me to go directly to the TV networks own websites to see the same content?

What was it costing them that they had to kill it.

Bear in mind that like most power users I get annoyed by each additional mouse click I need to make to accomplish a desired task.
