Weird colors with .AVI burned DVD

I have a weird problem… I burned 4 movies on a dvd and they’re all in .avi
3 of them work fine but one has weird colors (blue and yellow) with a lot of little squares in the screen (home dvd player). When I read the dvd in my computer everything is ok. I tried to burn it again (slower) but still get the same problem.

What it could be ?

Bad source or bad conversion.

Is there something I can do to fix it ?

Does the original file also have this problem? Then redownload it again.

The original file works just fine in my computer. Do I have to convert back to any video format ?

What brand and media code are your dvd’s…

Its hard to say which one.

Maybe you can run GSPot and give us the info it shows.

Ok media is tdk cd-rw. Avi file 680mb.

I tried to convert back with avs, the colors are ok now but I have an other problem : no sound ! LOL

Any ideas ??

Thanks a lot guys!

One more thing, I burn with nero 8. When burning .avi do I choose data disc ?:o

Canceled

I run GSpot what am I supposed to give for info ?

Maybe try another converter, visit videohelp.com/tools

I convert the .avi file to dvd video format with avs and now it works.

Just too much big but I will try another converter.

Tks!
