Web page

I want to develop a web page that I can make offline and when it is totally ready, move on line. At one time I had a Yahoo web page and used page builder. It was very easy, but I could not do it off line.

Is there software I can use that will work when I decided to move the page online, or do I have to know how my page is going to be hosted first, then use their software?

HTML is HTML … you can create one offline, and then upload it to practically any decent hosting service (even teh free ones do it).

Size (and commonly prohibited contents like porn, terrorism or provocation , or god forgive, fabric of society destroying contents like linkz to warez) are usually the only restrictions.

Dreamweaver 8 is very nice for this purpose, but you won’t like the price.

I use Nvu on Linux and found it better than FronPage or
Dreamweaver and you will like the price! it’s FREE don’t know if there is a version for Windows or not.

If you want a FREE one you can also use Note Pad.

There is lots like CoffeeCup HTML, but why don’t you actually try and learn the basic HTML codes? Study!

In case you’re lazy you can always use shudder Frontpage. Frontpage creates horrific non-W3C-compliant web pages, is ugly as hell and one of the most stupid software products ever made. But hey, it makes web pages.
