Its nice to see that newegg is starting to compete more with local prices (am I wrong or have local sales, probably loss leader sales on hard drives, been much cheaper locally in the past than online shops)?
I forgot to add, 16 meg of cache, 7200 RPM, this is the newer generation of HDD. I bought this HDD 6 months ago for $140 shipped from ZZF, works great, very fast, just that it doesn’t have NCQ support.
Thanks alot: I just spent $88. I needed a new drive to replace my oldest but now I can keep both as I have an open SATA cable. Greets
Now gives me a place to ghost my c: os drive 60 gig partition
You rule dude
I am glad that I made a few folks happy. I think this HHD uses the new 125 gig platter, newer quieter motor, my drive is ultra quiet.
