Last Black Friday, BestBuy had the same drive for the same price, but it was USB 2, now it is USB 3 at Staples.

This model is only $80:

I used a $25off$75 coupon Staples sent me to bring the price down to $55.

I’ve been planning to get a 1TB 2.5" (portable) size drive for awhile now, but this finally made me go for it.

No problem. Note that, the silver model is $90:

Not sure why the silver-colored WD drives cost more. It’s always been that way.

Staples has the 16GB USB 2 (not 3) thumb drive from Sandisk for twenty bucks, the 8GB (USB 2, not 3) for twelve bucks until Saturday.

The staples ads seem to be almost the same week to week… you can also get similar deals from etailers… 1tb drives typically run $50 - $80 depending on quality/speed/warranty They were almost 3x the price and not so good at introduction… (almost all mfg had firmware and drive siezing/qality control issues to work through). That’s why I never upgraded my 250gb hard drive to 1tb until that was put to rest…
