I am looking to save some digital music from the cable music channel to a large wave file. It will probably be saved to a VHS tape then transfrred to PC. What will be the simplest and most cost effective way to break up the file and name the songs?
Try Wavosaur. It can do anything with a sound file. It’s free.
I don’t know about simplest, but Audacity (free) or Goldwave (not free) will do it…
I think Exact Audio Copy, also free, will do the things you are looking for. It not only grabs audio but allows you to edit waves, splice waves, fade in & fade out, and more.
Oh yeah FriendOf “EAC” , I do love this proggy!..
