I guess your drive was made by BTC. But it seems they do not make ODDs anymore. You see for the older drives there are updates available:

If you have problems with your CD ROM , it is easier to replace it. for $6.99 you get a new one:

If you want you can check the internet for a firmware update. I guess now you know more about your drive and a search may be successful. But it may also be possible the F567 is not flashable like chef said.
