VsoDivxToDvd Audio Problem

I have a DivX movie (encoded using free DivX 5.2x), Movie.Avi.

I tried to convert it using VsoDivxToDvd, the process was done properly, no error.

But, when I tried to view the .VOB file (using NERO player), I hear no audio :frowning:

The VsoDivxToDVD detected the avi perfectly, it said it has audio.

I have tried to convert it before using DVD Santa (I dont like it because it is slow), and I got perfect audio. But why I got no audio with VsoDivxToDVD ?

Anyone have any suggestion?

I use version

Thanks for any help.

I found that my DivX movie has this audio codec : pcm_s16le, 44100 Hz, Stereo 1411 Kb/s

While vso encoded it to AC3, 192 Kbps, 48000. I read this information in the program log.

Do you think this is the problem?

I also installed http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/, but still no audio.

Anyone have any suggestion ? Or is this a known bug (can not process PCM audio) ?

The AVI plays on the computer with audio?

here is a similar thread: http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2271
maybe it will help

california girl, what does that s16le mean after pcm in kapot’s post?

Use either Gspot or Avicodec (both free) to open the encoded vob file/s and look at the audio info and see if it says supported.

but it doesn’t decode sound from the computer, or from your dvd player ?
did you check if you have several audio stream by using the language button from the remote controller.
