I’ve had this problem for a while, but it’s really annoying me today because I’m going through an interesting stack of unlabeled backups.
Whenever I place a DVD in one of my two DVD drives, the volume label does not update. When I remove DVDs from both drives, the drives don’t revert to the normal “DVD-RW” and “DVD-RAM” like they used to.
I had this problem once before while I was using Alcohol emulation. Now I have the problem again, but without Alcohol… 
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
