[QUOTE=Kerry56;2407454]Well, there’s always SUPER, which seems to be able to convert anything. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/SUPER I strongly advise clicking on the direct link on that page unless you want to read three pages of propaganda at the author’s site.
There are specialized tools, like WMVConvert, which uses WindowsMediaEncoder 9. (caveat: I haven’t tried this one)
Thank you very much, I will check these out and post my experience with them here in a bit.
Another thing I should point out, the “WinAvi” actually works, just that it encodes the first :38 seconds of the file. Also, when I change the file extension from .VOB to .MPG and try to convert it to .WMV with Windows Media Encoder, it does the same thing, just the first :38 seconds then it gives me the “task completed” message.
Any insight on this?
Thanks in advance.
