.vob files on cdr to play in dvd player?

Hi, just wondering if it’s possible to put dvd files, such as the .vob’s on a cdr or 2 or 3 cdr’s to play in dvd players. I don’t have a dvd burner yet, i would have to use my dads, and the dvdr’s are so expensive.

I’m fairly new to all this so a tutorial or deep explanation would be very appreciated.

If your DVD player will play bare MPEG2 files or .VOB files, then you can split them between CDs. It really depends on your player though and you may have to try for yourself. What is the player make and model number, BTW…?

I’d say they are dead cheap these days.

It depends on what your player is able to play…

I agree I have bought Verbatims for as little as $12.99 with coupon at Office Max for 100 DVD +R .I could have gotten - R for the same price.
