My 2nd post, hope the q's not too lame.
OK. I'm burning ty files converted to VOB successfully to DVDs (tytools). Movies consume roughly 30% of a -R dvd.
I'd like to stuff the ty.mpg (and other files) out on the DVD without compromising the VOB format (still have them play). My question is:
Can I just stuff the files out on the DVD in the VOB directory and hope the DVD reader just won't see them? Can I create a 3rd directory (don't know if Nero allows this) and stuff the files there? Or is this not possible.
I thought I'd ask before burning some trial DVDs.
Tytools seems pretty cool though I have not messed with menu templates much yet.
Another question: when trying to read a DVD in my PCs I get the "unrecognized DVD' message from MediaPlayer and something about the protection scheme not being correct. Anyone know how to get around this?
