angie.j ;MS is supposed to do another call back today.I still think the problem is Vista.Not the DVD drives.You might want to take a look at this topic where I discussed the problem & put in some images.
ISOBuster (I only have the free version) will let me view the folders & files on the disc.I think with the pay version I could extract them.
At least on my OS this shows me the drive can read this DVD disc with the right software.So the problem can’t be the DVD drive.
I think Vista’s Windows Explorer (My Computer) should be able to display the files & folders also.
I was hoping the photo store that did your Rabbit discs had done some kind of Windows update or Hot Fix they would pass on to you .
Then you could of posted that .Or if they used a software program that made Windows Explorer be able to read the disc.
I still think the problem is Vista’s lack of ability to read some UDF versions.The version on this disc is V. 2.0 .
I think your Rabbit discs probably are written in a version of UDF or ISO9660 that your Vista won’t read in Windows Explorer.
I can’t be sure but I’m betting the same solution will fix both Vistas.
