Virtual Drive Blacklist

The game pirates will not run from virtual drive unless I do the following.

Run “regedit”
Browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Scsi\Scsi Port 3
Where # = the port which lists your Alcohol virtual driver.
Right-click and select “Permissions”.
Set the permissions for Everyone and your login to “Deny” for Full Control.
Save and exit.

Is there a way to make a batch command from this so I don’t have to go through all the steps every time I reboot??

You’re not suposed to play pirate games :cop:

I think he means the Sid Meier game “Pirates”.

[The procedures he describes are those necessary to overcome recent securom blacklistings of alcohol’s virtual drive. Of course, you don’t need to bother if you make and run a twinpeak back-up copy; no blacklisting of those. ]
