Hi,

Just bought this since the November discount is still active but would have preferred it if existing users got a better discount.

Love the program but would really like to see an option to convert my HD DVD’s to WMV.

fengtao, would it be possible for u to please add the following features in the next version of VideoFab?

  1. Windows XP Interface
  2. Description of the source file
  3. 720 X 480 resolution when selecting Generic

#5

how much is this and does it fit the sceen last time it was too big for my sceen

and also doesnt this do the samething as dvdfab plat

#6

Can I just confirm that there is no upgrade price for existing DVDFab Platinum users?

#7

Yes, I would really love to see an upgrade option for us DVDFab buyers (well, not UPGRADE pursay but some kind of discount) since it’s essentially what we got but instead of using DVD’s as the source it’s giving us other formats as the source instead. I would hate to have to pay full price for 1 small change from what i already bought and use currently. At least consider it.

#8

Here’s the price:

#9

isnt dvdfab plat moble supose to do that also for ipod and other opions

#10

DVDFab Platinum w/mobile option converts DVDs to mobile formats. VideoFab is a File converter. It will take an AVI and make it an MP4 or one of many other formats. It does not decrypt DVDs.

#11

A bit more pricey then i expected since like i said it gives me only one option tradeoff then what DVDFab gives me, choosing a different format other then a DVD, everything else is already in place.
Nevertheless, i just bought it since the support is worth it, and the discount they offered of $8 if you buy before Nov.30. It’s still worth it to me for the support these guys give.

#12

I wrote to support regarding an upgrade price but since I’ve not heard back I think I’m just going to bite the bullet today before I miss the 20% discount too

Can Video Fab Converter be used with say Imgburn to do the same job as DVDFlick?

#14
Can Video Fab Converter be used with say Imgburn to do the same job as DVDFlick?
No - theres no MPEG2/DVD output or even a menu creation option for that matter.

#15

Is there any chance of Video Fab being able to do same job as DVD Flick. Currently use DVDFlick on downloaded films and Fab Plat on DVDs and a little surprised Fab don’t seem to have that option.

#16

Downloaded Video Fab trial today and having used it creates problem with then using DVDFlick on the original downloaded file. looks like I need to remove Video Fab to get DVDFlick back to normal.

#17

And removal of video Fab does but DVDFlick back to normal (or perhaps also having DVDUnlocked- Region Free presents the problem?) Think I’ll stick to using DVDFlick!

You might as well stick to DVDFlick as the two programs are completely different and don’t do the same thing! This is a general video converter not a DVD creator!

Well I’ve just ordered it and had the following email back:

Your order is currently under evaluation by Avangate antifraud
specialists. We perform this verification to prevent unauthorized use of
your credit/debit card and personal details.

In order to validate your payment and complete your order, please
provide us with the following documents during the next two business
days:

  • a copy of a recent credit card billing statement, confirming the
name, address, and telephone number associated with the credit card
    presented for your order.
  • a copy of your photo ID (identification card or passport).

What the hell? I’ve never had to provide any of this kind of thing before in all the hundreds of things I’ve ordered from the net and I’m not sure I even want to send them! Who are they? Has anyone else had this response when ordering DVDFab products?
