Okay guys, I have a dimension 3100, it has a Intel integrated graphics card, I’m pretty sure I can’t put a PCI or AGP card in it, but I’m just double checking, am I screwed panda? Or a happy panda?

Have to ask do you check with Dell site for your computing needs?? We are here to help but there comes a time I has to ask the Owner have you done your homework on your computer?? I searched for your computer on google and found a Dell link for the specific model your talking about and tech specifics. Here what it says.

http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/dimen_3100?c=us&cs=28&l=en&s=dfb

Slots
2 PCI slots
1 PCIe x1 slot

Doesn’t say if that is at 8x or 16x bit slot. Just make sure to contact Dell, they most likely have the manual in pdf format for you to download for your Dell.

Here, here!! on the homework comment coolcolors.
If it’s a PCIe x1 slot you’re pretty much SOL because you would have to use something like this:

It should be better than your integrated video, but no point in it really, not a gamer.

Lack of expansion slots is one of the trade-offs that is made when buying a manufactured box and often unknowingly.
