What is the appropriate video bit rate when converting from avi to dvd ?
I noticed that depending on the duration of the clip, TMPEGEnc set a higher or lower bit rate.
Is 5000 kbs a decent value, or should I choose a higher one ?
For a HQ AVI (MPEG-4) file 3500-6000kbps (VBR) should be more than enough.
If you’re clip has artifacts like blocks and such dont bother to go above ~4000kbps.
