Verbatim ready to ship 30GB Dual Layer HD DVD-R To who? Maybe Mr Verbatim should get its current discs right (verbs should be verbs not crappy CMC or whatever) and at a reasonable cost before it goes all pie in the sky with unwanted media.

Costs per megabyte of HD DVD must be keep a sensible way lower than the one you have with BD. Actually it seems that the cost of a HD DVD is very close to a BD. Absurd. How HD DVD can be competitive against BD if it has less space available (per layer) and higher or similar costs? And do they think to fool us stating that producing HD DVD costs less and then go out with very expensive media? :frowning:
