Okay I have just come from currys.digital and they have a special offer on the Verbatim discs. At the moment, and I don't know how long it last, you can buy two 25 disc spindles of 16x-/+Rs for £13.99, normally £12.99 a pack. You can mix them so take one of each. In my local stores the -Rs are MII and the +Rs are MIT.
This is sorely tempting, although I've spent enough money over the last month on burners/media.
I'd definitely go for the +Rs, as I'm a +R person.
For back ups I use either, but I have never used MII-Rs so abit cautious, so I might end up buying two +Rs instead, after all £13.99 for 50 aint bad, as they are charging £19.99 ver 50 verb CDs (MII by the way).
Ahhh. They had MII Verb -Rs at Sainsburys, back when they had the 25-spindles for £5.99.
Of course, I picked up the +Rs instead
I was thinking if I use this offer I will be in effect only paying £1 for them as it is normally £12.99 anyway and I woul pay that for 25 Verbs, after all before they got them in I was paying £9 for 10. Maye £1 isn't too much to try them after all.
Guinea pig
No pusskit
It's not often we get good deals here so I couldn't resist spreading the word. I'llpop out tomorrow and make up my mind when I buy. I need some as I only have 15 verbs left.
My pusskit's outside somewhere
Go on, you know you want to...someone's gotta try 'em. If I could get to a Currys.digital myself (no bus that goes there from here), I might have bought some myself - sod the bank account
I'll see what my hands do when I am in there tomorrow. I definately need some more +Rs as I ran out of them.
Just been in my local curry's (not curry's digital) and the offer wasn't there. They had the +R and -R but they were 12.99 each. Ah well, off to SVP I go....
Try by the till in a wire basket. I just bought them today and they were £13.98. THey don't put the offers on the shelve. They had shelve full of Panasonics, but only in a basket was the offer published.
Thought i'd looked, might pop back and have another look as it's only 5 mins away. Are the MIT +R's better than the MII? I get excellent results with the MII Less than 6000 PIE and 150 PIF.
In the one I go to they have them on the shelves with no mention of the offer, both Verbs and the boxed Panasonics, but by the tills they are in baskets with the offer on a notice.
