And, second, assuming it is, which Verbatim's should I get? I was told that the 8x TY's were actually better (especially for the price) than the 16x. What Verbatims are the best? Are there different kinds of Verbatim DVD+R (I know there are obviously different speeds, but other than that), or can I just go to BestBuy and any pack of 8X or 16x Verbatim DVD+Rs?
Both 8x and 16x Verbatim are generally very good, but getting 16x is much easier.
As with any other media there's always a risk of getting mediocre or bad media, but there's no way of avoiding that risk completely.
