Verbatim DVD+R 8X JewelCase MCC 003, is this good ? :-o

I just bought some new discs, since TY are like almost impossible to get here in Sweden I went for Verbatim media from www.wesellcd.com

I bought 50 Verbatim DVD+R 8X in JewelCases, they were 65 US Cents per disc (33 USD total for 50 discs, exluding shipping) which I thought was pretty good (at least compared to Swe retail prices)

I have a NEC 1300A so I can't do any tests, but when I checked the Verbatim forum the scans in there seemed really nice.

The thing is when I put in a blank disc and try to get the MID (with DVD Identifier 4.1.0) it wont work, not until after I had burnt the DVD was it possible to get the media code, why is this ? :-o

I just burnt the first disc in Nero 6.0.1.6 with Herries NEC1300a firmware (1.0C), at 4X and it seems OK (data verification etc...)

So, is this good media or what ? :-o

it's considered to be some of the very best, yes. as long as its real (which it probably is considering the packaging)

also, i'm not an expert on such matters, but i believe verbatim also uses moser baer india for some DVDs. check the MID to be sure. MMC003 is good.
