No better than Verbatim’s so-called “Extra Protection” CD-R stuff. In fact, the 52x “Digital Vinyl” CD-Rs are just ordinary phthalocyanine CD-Rs made primarily by CMC Magnetics in Taiwan using CMC’s own stampers and technology (with a few made by Moser Baer in India using that company’s own technology and stampers).
Not all Vinyl’s are phthalocyanine, mine are Cyanine with the MCC code and the ones I have say Data Vinyl 52X.
ok thanks will bear this in mind,
so what is out there which is the closest to the old metal azo musiclife discs?
I am sure this may have been posted many times here before somewhere, I have bought verbatim azo & datalife plus discs in the past which are not the best quality & the azo ones will not play in certain cd players.
Get some Taiyo Yuden cdrs or if you can’t get them then try some Verbatim cdrs with the mcc code.
