What is the quality of the new Verbatim CD-R Extra Protection 700MB 52x media (Made in Japan)? How do they compare with the older Verbatim Datalife CD-R media?
I don’t know how they compare to older Datalife, but the Verbatim MIJ Extra Protection CDRs I use are excellent quality.
Also, my step-dad uses them (he’s a DJ), and his discs get a lot of use, so they seem pretty hardy discs too.
Is there any diffrence in quality between the CD-R Extra Protection and the CD-R Pastel Colour (Made in Japan)?
The Extra Protection have a slightly tougher top layer. I’m not sure about quality differences for data - both are Taiyo Yuden CD-R media, however.
