Bought some new Verbatim today, looks like an promotion thing… “A New Dimension” They are marked with “Made in India”.

SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 48X

Have somebody here tried them?

I’m assuming the discs you bought were Verbatim Datalife (without the Plus)? These are just standard Moser Baer India discs, same as EMTEC.

Yes, they are marked with Verbatim DataLife.

They appear to be ok… But 9 € for 20 discs I find it a little bit expensive. :confused:

Those Verbatims have been here for a while.

Yep. They are. The same as MMORE - I got them both.

I also want those cd’s (Taiyo Yunden). But those I have seen is expensive 50 (Cakebox) for 39 € !?!

But I have seen some Plextor (Made in Japan) 50 (Cakebox) for 19 € maybe they are Taiyio Yunden ? :confused:

They definitely are. No doubts about it.

Also I’m gonna buy and test Bestmedia’s Platinum ( made by Plasmon ) today.
So we’ll see what happens when testing it.
It’s regarding your query on Plasmon stuff in the other thread.

Any idea if any Verbatim or TDK branded cdrs are RiteK? I read somewhere that the TDK 40X are pretty much guaranteed to be made by Ritek?
