On second thought, do you own a BenQ, NEC/Optiarc, or Plextor drive? Those would be needed to test CD media accurately.

No, for CD scanning, the Lite-On is no good. It doesn't detect the full range of CD related errors, so it gives you a false sense of security. The BenQ is much better, especially when you do an Advanced Quality Scan.
