Has anyone tried these? http://www.verbatimcorp.com/products/detail.cfm?product_id=BE5F4571-1143-3415-5FF6AD84AFA470AF&cat_id=F2316988-65B0-5A0F-8CF84BCB85E482E7 How do these compare to Taiyo Yuden Watershield?

Nope I haven’t tried them yet but they do look very interesting I’ll have to
try and get some here in a few days and try them out. :iagree:

I would be happy to see their regular gloss in hub-printable, I like it’s semi-gloss appearance. If this stuff looks just like Watershield, there would need to be some other compelling reason to buy it, like lower price.

Yes, they are cheaper than the watershields.

It looks to be same visually as Watershield which means you can see the hub outline clearly when you look down on them.

Glossy is what Watershield is and I find it to scratch very easy for CD’s especial the ones in your car stereo when you insert it into the opening to play it.

Imation AquaGuard is Matte but it does not scratch or smear like others might and the coat from the edge to the hub is all one smooth surface so it does not stand out.

I have found images in a review for a better understanding:
