Does anyone have any experience with Verbatim 95052? They’re 8x, DVD+R, DataLifePlus, MIT, likely MCC 02RG20. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had very good results with both of these in the past before 16x became available, but they weren’t of the Shiny Silver type and they weren’t bought in the U.S.

They are probably good, but that’s not something I can guarantee.

Thanks for the correction about MCC 003. I should have known that. I’ve had great luck in the past burning Verbatim 95086, same specs as 95052 but in 100-packs. I’m not sure if the 95052 are essentially the same but just in smaller quantities.

I went ahead and purchased a 50-pack. Below are the results on three different burners. Overall quite good.

First set of results is for an Optiarc AD-7200A, burned at 4x and 8x. Perfect TRT on both

Next set is for a Pioneer DVR-216D, burned at 4x, 8x…

…and 12x.

Last set is for a Samsung SH-S243N (fully patched with CodeKing’s patches), at 8x and 12x.

Looks very good except for the PIF clusters on the Samsung burns.
