Verbatim 48x media testing

i just bought a 100pk spindle of verbatim 48x media... im going to be doing some testing... and im currently on vs02 but it only lets me burn at 40x so i might jump upto vs06 and see how that does...

the results are strange....

im still liking vs02 with 40x burns...
cds read good and burn fast....
but vs06 at 40x has little to no errors but reads slow...

maybe vs02 with smartburn off at 48x will give better results

or maybe even ZS0K

all these dics read fine on the lite on with zs0k and no read errors except the vs06 at 48x had 5 errors which is so little its not funny…

ive read here that many people had problem with their lite on as an reader… im now wondering if my toshiba is not failing… the errors on it are happening at different places and are always there but how many and the places are not exactly the same…

my 40125s zs0k reads cdrs burned on vs02 and vs06…
my last test will be vs02 with 48x smartburn off…

i have vs01 and vs04 i might test those with smartburn off also…
