Verbatim 48x (Made in India ) Good stuff!

I just got one Verbatim 48x Crystal surface +Super AZO, in my hands today …

I will say that my Plextor 4012TA (1.3 firmware ) love them , even CUE burning at 40X !!!

That doesn’t proove anything. Do a C2 error scan and post it here, then we can see if it’s good stuff.

What software to you trust most for C2 error scan …

Nero CD-Speed

According the Nero Quality CD check there is 10 or 13 or 33 errors .
The results vary by just restarting the test …

I did tested the Taiyo Yuden Cd’s (Plextor labeled) , that i had burn at 40x with data , and they were clean of errors …

So does this results makes them bad ? Or they can not handle even 40x , even if the are marketed as 48x !!!

By the way ,the Plex tools reported no errors !!
And it looks that the PoweRec recognize them as high speed media , other way it will not let me burn at 40x …

10 or 33 errors are nothing to worry about…

10 or 33 errors are nothing to worry about…

Unless the drive had to slow to 12x to read them

Funny enough , the errors had be created at the time that the recorder had got almost the top speed , i guess that the media does have the quality to called as 48X …

If they are not good for 40X , at the 48x they will have 200 errors or more !!
