Verbatim 48X CD-R discs MADE IN JAPAN

You remember that I should go back to the store and pick up more of the MADE IN CHINA AZO discs sold in 50 spindles?

Now they were sold out :frowning:

But I picked up a 20 pack of Verbatim datalife 48X, in slim jewel cases and Made in Japan…

ATIP: 97m 24s 01f
Disc Manufacturer: Taiyo Yuden Company Ltd.

Media type: CD-Recordable

I wrote a disc at 52X, but the reult is worse than from the plextor branded TY discs for a reason or another:

Very odd that Verbatim would sell anything but Mitsubishi. Wonder if it’s just a Europe thing.

I picked up a 50 spindle of Verbatim TY in a computer fair, but their quality was much higher, like those of Pelxtor/Fuji branded TY.
