VB2005 0 bytes on CD

vbimport

#1

HI,

Have spent last couple of days trying to write a VB.NET program to burn all files in a selected directory to a CD.

Have Nero 7 and SDK 1.6.0.0 and usign Visual Studio 2005 - Visual Basic.

Believe I have written to CD OK - program says all OK but when I look at files on CD they have size of 0 KB.

I have spent considerable time reviewing posts to see if anyone else has same problem and saw post by AlexF Jul2003 wiht similar issue using Nero6.

Please find code that I am using below - not sure if I am using correct flags etc.

Code is based around sample code NEROFiddlesCOM distributed with NEROSDK. as you might see not realy expert using VB :slight_smile:

Thanks.

Brian

  nFolder = New NeroFolder
    Dim drives As INeroDrives
    drives = nero.GetDrives(NERO_MEDIA_TYPE.NERO_MEDIA_CDR)
    drive = drives.Item(AvailableDevices.SelectedIndex)
    Dim isotrack As NeroISOTrack
    isotrack = New NeroISOTrack
    isotrack.Name = "CDName"

    For Each fiTemp_NoMix In fi_NoMix 'loads list of files as NeroFiles???
        nFile = New NeroFile
        nFolder.Files.Add(nFile)
        nFile.Name = fiTemp_NoMix.Name
        nFile.SourceFilePath = sPath
    Next fiTemp_NoMix

    isotrack.BurnOptions = NEROLib.NERO_BURN_OPTIONS.NERO_BURN_OPTION_CREATE_ISO_FS + _
                            NEROLib.NERO_BURN_OPTIONS.NERO_BURN_OPTION_USE_JOLIET

    isotrack.RootFolder = nFolder

    drive.BurnIsoAudioCD("", "CD_Title", 0, isotrack, Nothing, Nothing, _
                        NEROLib.NERO_BURN_FLAGS.NERO_BURN_FLAG_SIMULATE + _
                        NEROLib.NERO_BURN_FLAGS.NERO_BURN_FLAG_WRITE + _
                        NEROLib.NERO_BURN_FLAGS.NERO_BURN_FLAG_CLOSE_SESSION + _
                        NEROLib.NERO_BURN_FLAGS.NERO_BURN_FLAG_VERIFY, _
                        4, NEROLib.NERO_MEDIA_TYPE.NERO_MEDIA_CD)

I think it may have something to do with a log message I am getting - OnAddLogLine which says :

Reading Directories
Access Denied
C:\DOWNLOAD\CD (= directory of files trying to burn)
AccessDenied
Directory name

Not sure if I need to release Folder Object prior to actual burn.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Thanks
