Vaio VGN - CR11 GH/R Matshita UJ 850S reads burnt cds as blanks

Hi

I have a Sony Vaio VGN - CR11 GH/R Laptop with a Matshita UJ 850S dvd burner

it dosent read any burnt cd-r

it always shows it as blank

Let me guess, you have software like daemon tools, alcohol or incd installed…

Yes, i have deamon tools…is it because of that??

I tried unintalling deamon tools and also uninstalled the cd/dvd drive and reinstalled it.

but this didnt solve the problem

please help !!!

Is Daemon tools being removed?

No daemon and nothing of the image tools installed…
removed upper and lower filters

Ask the seller/dealer for RMA/replacement drive.
