Hi all,
Anyone have any experience using SpeedFan?
I’ve been trying to figure out how to use this convoluted piece of software with my ECS N2U400-A mobo with little success.
The web site claims that the software will work with my mobo, but I have yet to verify this claim.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
P.S.: Is there any other cpu fan control software out there that’s more user-friendly?
Speedfan is an awesome utility, very customizable and much better then any utility provided by the motherboard manufacturers.
As you observed it isn’t exactly user-friendly, but once you understand it’s function it is an amazing piece of software.
I haven’t played around with alternates, I don’t think there is a better one.
If you are using Vista, make sure you run the program as an administrator.
Thanks for the reply, but I gave up on the program.
Maybe it’s my mobo, but regardless of what I do, I have no control over the CPU or system fans… I’m better off just inserting a pot on the +12V and changing the voltage to the fan manually.
As far as i know nope… if ur using it 2 read ur temps… i suggest going with coretemp or realtemp both 100tjmax’s
