In Liteon page I don´t see the firmware for this model. Can I used firmware of model 526??

Propably not, but I’ve never heard of any 525, and LiteOn’s webpage does not have one listed…
But it’s most probable it’s a diff chip and non-compatible firmwares.
I’m having this drive also and the firmware read as KL17. I’m unable to find this drive listed at Liteon site. That’s funny.
