I have an ATRAC walkman that I'm really fond of . Problem is that the USB no longer connects to computers. The connection does work as a means of plugging the machine into a USB plug, possibly the fact that this was the means I've used to recharge this for the last several months has something to do with the problem.
I'm just wondering if there is a trick to reactivating the connection. At the moment I can't change the music on the player. It plays ok but I can't add or delete tracks from it.
It was actually this that awoke me to the dead connection since I went to swap one track on my computer for a track on the player. Couldn't do it since Sonicstage the program it runs with didn't recognise there was a player connected.
It's a shame cos ATRAC gives great sound and is a defunct form. So I can't replace the player.
not sure if this is the right section of this board to ask on but hoping somebody might have an idea.
