US-CERT warns for end of support of Windows Vista next month

The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) warns that Microsoft will no longer support Windows Vista from the 11th of April this year. This means the OS will no longer receive updates, including patches for security issues.

I’ll probably still use it occasionally (I don’t use any version of Windows very often these days), but with my security software’s settings set to their highest values. Comodo’s sandboxing and behavioral blocking seem top-notch if matousec’s “Proactive Security Challenge 64” is any indicator.
