:rolleyes:Basically I am running a Core2 3.0 @ stock speeds on a MSI P35 Board 8G Ram and Vista X64 with a 8800 GTS 640MB VC using a Seagate 7200.10 HDD. Bluy Ray reencoding is a painful experience to say the least.
So I am comtemplating a I7 Upgrade with the 2.66 (will probably OC to 3.0 or so) and compatible board, 6G Triple Channel Ram (Will add 6 more in future) a Wester Digital Black 640 G HDD and a GTX260 Core216 VC.
I do play games but I also backup my own owned discs.
What kind of real world performance gain can I hope to expect with programs like RipBot, BD Rebuilder, Recode and such.
And as well as for gaming and general programs like the Adobe Creative suite and office.
I appreciate your opinions
